2009 JBGGO News

Scandal has hit the 2009 GGO as the planning committee announces a change in
sponsorship. The new sponsor is J&B Scotch. The JBGGO chairman cited the
increased level of support offered by J&B as a key factor, saying "You can
get a half gallon of J&B at the Myrtle Beach Costco!"

When asked for his opinion of the change, reigning JBGGO champion Chris
Brown said, "Hey Kobe!"

JBGGO runner up Randy Harris added, "We're still doing the Hooters'
wing party in Wilmington, right?" and Chad Ice commented, "Seriously?"

When asked for further comment, the JBGGO chairman said simply, "Eremy Ray!"

Despite the tumult, planning continues. Brunswick PLantation
representatives have assured the planning committee that they have plenty of
availability and so have allowed an additional week for course selection.

Hooters Road Trip (In Search of Hooters Passport Stamps 17,18,19 and 20)

My future brother-in-law Jeff and I recently took a road trip to see how many Hooters Passport Stamps we could get in a single day. We made it to four in just under six hours. (These include South Charlotte, Rock Hill, S.C., Gastonia and Uptown Charlotte.) We actually made it to two more, but they were very closed. Jeff needs to update his GPS. Just for the record, Kevin and I still hold the record for five in 24 hours. Five more to go.
